The size of a water passage often makes it challenging to gain close access to the entire surface. The models allow for detailed inspection from an office environment without the need to install time consuming support structures, such as scaffolding. The models also provide a permanent and accurate record that are accessible to all parties and inspection specialists. Model resolution is adaptable and chosen based on the type of deterioration being documented. The typical rage is 0.25 mm to 0.75 mm and allows for very detailed visual and spatial analysis.
